At this most charming downtown,
you can stroll down Memory Lane.
You can have a root beer or iced tea
or a tart lemonade, even
a double-scoop ice cream cone.
You can see the old red caboose near the park
and the black antique engine on the firehouse floor.
You can visit the used book store
where you sit on a slow rocking chair
while you listen for the sound of the train.
Forget worry or foe, none live here
at this most wonderful place.
